and Amenities at the Rye Chalet
Accommodations:
The first level of the Rye Chalet has a
spacious living area and library, a bedroom (The Green
Bedroom, with twin beds), a full bath and a laundry.
The main level has a 10 x 14 kitchen, a 20 x 16 dining
and game area, a 20 x 16 living area with a beautiful
stone fireplace, cathedral ceilings, and a south facing
glass wall with sliders out to the huge wrap-around deck
all taking in the incredible distant views. The main level
also has a second bedroom (The Beige Bedroom, with queen
bed) and a full bath.
Third level contains the master bedroom (The Blue Room, with
queen bed), full bath, dressing room.
In addition, there are three queen sofa beds two in the
main floor living room and one in the first floor library.
All bed linens and towels are provided.
The laundry room, on the first floor, has a washing machine,
clothes dryer, iron and ironing board.
The Kitchen has all appliances, including a cook top, two
ovens, refrigerator, dishwasher, blender, coffee-maker,
microwave, spices, cooking utensils and cook books.

Games three cupboards of
them. Plus a terrific game table to play cards or games
on.

Grill -- A large living deck
with a gas grill.

Library The chalet has a
library stocked with a wide selection of good books. We
offer a book loan program in which guests who start a
book at the chalet are invited to finish it at home and
mail it back. Vermont, which is already overflowing
with fine artisans working in a multitude of visual
media also boasts more writers per capita than any
